DETROIT (WWJ) - Don't say they didn't warn you.

Michigan State Police sent out a tweet Thursday morning, informing drivers about a special Traffic Enforcement Detail along the Lodge Freeway at Wyoming Avenue on Detroit's west side.

The effort, which also involves Detroit police, will focus on speed, aggressive drivers, seatbelt use and distracted driving, according to police. The speed limit on the Lodge is 55 miles per hour.

"Consider yourself warned," police said. "Even better, drive Michigan safely all the time and you even have to worry about enforcement."
