WAYNE, Mich. (WWJ) -- There is a heavy police presence in Wayne Wednesday evening after a reported bank robbery.

Multiple Wayne Police Department and Michigan State Police vehicles were on the scene at the Chase Bank located in the area of Wayne Road and Michigan Avenue around 6 p.m. State police tweeted they were on the scene with canine units assisting with a track.

Details are light, but police did confirm to WWJ there was a report of a robbery at the bank.
