Police Seeking 2 Suspects, 1 Person Of Interest In BP Gas Station Assault

One of the suspects fired shots into the business

DETROIT (WWJ) - On a Thursday afternoon in April, three people entered a gas station in Detroit, within minutes there was a verbal spat and shots fired. Police are hoping someone will recognize the suspects from the video or still image taken from a surveillance camera. 

Authorities say on April 26 around 2:30 p.m., two women and a man entered the BP Gas Station in the 1800 block of E. 8 Mile Road in Detroit. There was an argument between one of the woman and the station clerk and the woman pulled down a rack of car oil as she and her friends ran out of the store -- and into a red Ford Focus. The male suspect fired several shots into the business from the car - shattering the glass at the gas station.

Fortunately, no one was injured but police want to find the three people involved. 

The suspects are described as a black male, armed and dangerous, and a black woman, who has long braids.

The person of interest is described as a black woman wearing a hat.
