Police: Teen Shot Outside Skating Rink On City's West Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - The search is on for the suspects in a drive-by  Detroit's west side. 

Police say a 17-year-old was walking out of a skating rink around 10 p.m. Saturday when the suspect drove up in a grey car and started firing.

The incident happened on Schoolcraft near the Southfield Freeway. 

The teen was struck in the lower leg and is in temporary serious condition. 

No word on a motive for the attack or a suspect. Police are still investigating.
