Police: Woman Missing From Ypsilanti Group Home Is Without Phone, Money

YPSILANTI TWP, Mich. (WWJ) -- The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman who is believed to be without any of her property.

The sheriff's office says 37-year-old Audrey Essence Mullen was last seen at a group home in Ypsilanti Township Saturday night. She reportedly left the group home around 10 p.m. without any of her property or medications. She is described as 5-foot-5, 160 lbs.

Police say Mullen, who is from the Detroit area, suffers from bipolar disorder and takes medication daily.

Mullen does not own a cell phone or have any cash or credit cards.

Mullen was seen at the Marathon gas station at Michigan Avenue and Holmes Road around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, asking for a ride to Westland.

She is listed as an endagered missing person.

She has not been located and police are asking anyone who has seen her or knows of her whereabouts to contact Detective Yeager at 734-476-9594 or
