An Ohio woman washed her hands and still got the coronavirus.

Amy Driscoll, of Hudson, Ohio, washed her hands, used hand sanitizer and didn’t touch her face, but still tested positive, reported USA Today.

“Are you kidding me?” Driscoll said as she received her test results. Driscoll shared her experience on Facebook about her experience so far. I was really sick,” she said. I was really scared there for a little while about how sick I was.”

"I was really sick,” she said. I was really scared there for a little while about how sick I was.”

Driscoll is now at home under quarantine where she said she is exhausted and is still dealing with symptoms like fatigue and headaches.

“Just like my body has been through a battle,” she said.

The mother-of-four said she was at work when she started developing symptoms and she felt sick. Driscoll went home at the end of the day and her temperature was 99.2 degrees. After that, she took Motrin and went to bed.

The next day Driscoll said she started coughing and her chest was hurting.

“It was hard to get a breath in and my chest felt constricted,” Driscoll said.

“It was like nothing I had ever quite experienced," she added.

She then went to the hospital, where workers immediately put her into isolation. By Friday night, she had a fever of 102 degrees and tested positive for COVID-19.

Health officials are not sure how she was exposed to the deadly virus. She said she attended a Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game the Saturday before she got sick.
