NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- President Donald Trump addressed Ghislaine Maxwell, the former confidante of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, at a briefing Tuesday afternoon intended to be a White House coronavirus task force briefing.

When asked by a reporter if he thought that Maxwell will reveal the powerful men in Epstein's circle -- and how Prince Andrew would fare -- Trump surprisingly didn't remain coy about meeting Maxwell and Epstein.

"I haven't really been following it too much," Trump said. "I just wish her well, frankly. I've met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach. I guess they lived in Palm Beach. But I wish her well. Whatever it is. I don't know the situation with Prince Andrew. I just don't know. Not aware of it."

Maxwell, who is currently in a Brooklyn jail, has been charged with conspiracy and perjury in a multi-state sex trafficking ring involving three unnamed minors between 1994 and 1997.
