Police: Suspects Use Hacking Device To Steal 600 Gallons Of Gas

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for two suspects who used some type of device to hack a gas pump and steal more than 600 gallons of gas.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 23 at the Citgo gas station on 7 Mile Road just off the Southfield Freeway. 

According to police, two suspects used a remote device to hack the gas pump. The device prevented the clerk from turning off the pump with the computer, police said.
