August 19, 2019 - 4:18 pm

ADDISON TWP. (WWJ) - A Pontiac teen says he was robbed by three people of his backpack, laptop and some cash at Addison Oaks County Park.

It happened late Sunday afternoon, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, in northern Oakland County's Addison Township.

The 17-year-old victim told deputies he knew one of the suspects, who goes by the name "Eli," and that Eli and two other teenagers he didn't know picked him up in Oxford Township in and drove him to the park.

The group got of the vehicle, a blue Chevy Equinox, and walked back to one of the trails where the victim reported the driver pulled a black pistol from his waist and robbed him.

The victim was struck in the face with the pistol, officials said, before the suspects drove away eastbound on Romeo Rd.

The suspects are described as follows: An 18-year-old black male; an 18 or 19 year-old black male around 6' tall; and a 17-year-old white female, around 5'9'' tall and 160 lbs.

Deputies interviewed the victim and checked the surrounding area for the suspects and their vehicle but didn't find them.

Detectives will be continuing with the investigation.
