(WWJ/RDC) Life can feel like a struggle right now, but if you're up for some cheer remember this: We'll always have Cinco de Mayo.

What better way to spice up your mood during the pandemic than fetching a taco or burrito to celebrate the beloved Mexican holiday?

Well, there's one thing that could make it better. Getting a taco or burrito at a discount.

Even during a pandemic, when there's a will there's a way. Whether by bundles or through delivery apps, your favorite spots across metro Detroit are helping you to celebrate this year. These are some of the best deals -- and some of the best places -- for tacos on Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday.

Free Queso Blanco AND delivery? That's like finding white gold during quarantine. Chipotle is offering both for Cinco de Mayo. Just use promo code QUESO55 at checkout on the app or website when Queso Blanco is added on orders on May 5.

You know what goes with tacos? Beer. Try it if you're new to Cinco, or to the world. And take advantage of this deal from Detroit's own Atwater Brewery while you're at it!

Everybody in metro Detroit knows ifyou want authentic Mexican food during Cinco -- or anytime -- southwest Detroit is the place to go. Many of the local establishments are offering delivery and curbside pick-up, and meal kits to go. Check out the deals here.

O.W.L. on Woodward in Royal Oak is known for burritos the size of your head. Haven't been? This is the perfect opportunity.

Rember going to concerts? Having fun? No? Well, maybe this will remind you. The Fillmore, a venerable music venue downtown, wants you to have fun in the form of tacos for Cinco. They recommend delivery or takeout from Mi Pueblo Detroit.

Haven't been to Mi Pueblo? Some consider a Detroit essential. Here are more, including Los Altos, Alchile in West Bloomfield, the essential Armando's in southwest Detroit, Buene Fe in Madison Heights, Azteca in Troy, and Dos Locos in Hamtramck, among many more.

This unassuming spot on the downtown Royal Oak strip has gained notoriety for its variety -- and quality. And the fact they won't only deliver tacos to your car or door, they'll also let you order margarita mix with fruit puree on the side to make it as sweet -- or salty as you desire. Check out the firecracker shells or the double shell varieties like Juju, sweet Lucy and Peezler for a real tastebud tingle.

Order HERE for delivery or curbside pick-up.

Speaking of margaritas, if you're ordering from Imperial in Ferndale, make sure to ask for one. Imperial is hosting a taco truck in its parking lot on Woodward from 4-9 p.m. today for drive-up or walk up service. Grab tacos, bourbon, margaritas, and more. The special Cinco taco of the day has margarita chicken, pineapple mango relish and jalapeno lime creme. Details HERE.

Hosts Jim "JJ" Johnson and JoAnne Purtan asked their metro Detroit listeners to tell the world about their favorite local taco joints ... Feeling adventurous? Read their responses below, pick a favorite and go with it! Favorites include El Nibble Nook in Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield, Trini and Carmen's in Waterford and Sagebrush Cantina in Lake Orion, Rio On Main in Lake Orion, Camellias, Mexican Village, Mexican Gardens and Angelina's in Wyandotte.

Moe's kept it short and sweet in this tweet. The chain is offering free delivery on orders of $10 or more made through their app or website on Cinco de Mayo.
