State Police: Man Who Escaped Psychiatric Hospital Van Has Been Found

He was considered a danger to himself and others while at large.

HAZEL PARK, Mich. (WWJ) -- Michigan State Police have found the man who escaped a van that was transporting him to a psychiatric care facility Thursday night.

An Endangered Missing Alert was issued Thursday night for 21-year-old Christian Joseph Snow, who was being transported to the Behavioral Center of Michigan in Warren when he escaped the transporting vehicle.

Police tweeted around 9:30 p.m that he had been found and was being transported to the Behavioral Center. They did not disclose any details about what led to Snow's escape or where he was found.

MSP said Snow was seen climbing up the east embankment on northbound I-75 near I-696 in the Hazel Park area.

Police say Snow is 5-foot-10, around 150 lbs.

Snow was considered to be a danger to himself and others during the time he was at large.
