HENRIETTA TWP. (WWJ) - A 28-year-old Jackson County man has died after the tractor he was driving overturned.

Troopers with the Michigan State Police First District were called to the scene on private property off Coon Hill Rd., between Autumn Lane and Sayers Rd. in Henrietta Township, north of Jackson, on Monday.

Police said an investigation found the victim, identifed as Tyler Thomas Brown of Henrietta Township, was removing a tree on the property and as the tree was uprooted, the tractor overturned backwards.

Brown suffered multiple severe injuries, police said; and despite the efforts of witnesses and first responders he later died.

Troopers were assisted by SAESA EMS, Jackson Community Ambulance Henrietta EMS, and the Henrietta Township Fire Department.
