DETROIT (WWJ) - "Too emotional to even think what's going through my mind right now," Peter Gojcevic told WWJ's Stephanie Davis. "My family is tore apart and we're devastated."

Gojcevic of Sterling Heights is an Albanian native, is making the difficult decision to send his children to Albanian to be with their mom, deported from the U.S. in May.

Three children, Michael, 16, Megan 10, and Martina 8 saying their goodbyes to their father at Detroit Metropolitan Airport Tuesday night. "I can never be a mother, I can't work - provide for them and raise them properly. I can raise them, but again, there is nothing like a mother. We have to make sacrifices.

"I guess the government gave us an involuntary divorce. I don't know what happens, I don't know when we can ever get back. I mean, the kid is 16-years-old, when he is 21 he can apply for his mom to come back -- but that's in five years."

Gojcevic is not sure of his own future here in the states, he's not an American citizen and does not have a Green Card.
