DETROIT (WWJ) - Investigators need help from the public to identify a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman after she passed out from drinking.

According to police, the suspect --  who used the name "Marcus M." -- met the victim on the social networking website, and the two set up a date.

On July 8, at around 1 a.m., he picked the woman up and took her to a liquor store on E. Jefferson Ave. in Detroit. He then drove her to either Belle Isle or Gabriel Richard Park, located on E. Jefferson, where the pair sat and drank.

After the woman "blacked out" from drinking, police said, the suspect raped her while she was unconscious. He then drove her home, half-dressed, and dropped her off.

As police continue to work to identify the man, seen in two photos released on Friday, Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for the tip that lead to his ID and arrest on sexual assault charges.

Anyone who knows who he is or who has any helpful information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Tips may also be submitted online at this link, or by texting CSM and the tip to CRIMES (2746370). As always, tipsters may stay 100 percent anonymous, will not be asked their name, to speak to police or to testify in court.
