DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are trying to identify three men who robbed a liquor store on Detroit's west side at gunpoint.

The robbery happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday, May 30 at the Crown 7 Liquor Store along 7 Mile Road just west of the Southfield Freeway.

Despite the clerk trying to lock the door and keep them out, the suspects forced their way into the store and announced a holdup. One suspect was armed with a shotgun, the second suspect served as a "look-out" and the third suspect removed cash from the register, according to police.

The suspects fled the scene on foot. No one was injured.

The entire incident was caught on surveillance cameras, which captured clear images of all three suspects.
