BRITISH COLUMBIA (WWJ) - A trio of adventure seekers and social media stars died during an accident at Shannon Falls, just north of Vancouver, in British Columbia.

Charles Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh, and Megan Scraper were all members of the group High on Life - an adventure travel and extreme experience online brand. The group's experiences were shared with over half a million followers on YouTube and a million on Instagram as well as other social media outlets.

A release from Squamish RCMP (authorities connected to the recovery)  states that on Tuesday, July 3, they were called regarding three people who were swimming in one of the pools at the top of Shannon Falls. According to reports three in the group slipped and fell about 100 feet to their deaths.

The names were not released by authorities but High on Life posted a video letter to friends of their community on Facebook that they had died.

"They stood for positivity, courage and living the best life that you can and they shared and taught their values to millions of people worldwide. As tragic as their loss is, their message lives on through us all and it is now our responsibility to keep that message going."

In an emotional recounting of a passage said to be written by both Ryker and Alexey one of the members read in part; "The world is vast and full of possibilities. Follow your bliss. Get out of your comfort zone. Stop looking for reasons why you can’t and look for reasons why you can. And… if you can, you should.“

A GoFundMe account has been set up in their memory.
