(WWJ) Two children who were the victims in a go-kart crash in Michigan's Kenockee Township have died, per an online fundraiser created by family members of the victims, 13 and 10 year-old cousins.

The kids were reportedly out playing in the go-kart, scrunched down in their seats at the intersection of Beard and Fargo roads in Kenockee Township.

The female driver told police she slammed into the boys because didn't see them due to glare from the sun. The crash happened at 8:05 p.m. Thursday.

So far, she has not been charged.

The 13-year-old died at the scene and the 10 year-old had been hanging on in critical condition at a local hospital. Family members announced he died Saturday.

"The devastation to the family is beyond words; we want to be sure the family is taken care of during the coming days and months," the online fundraiser says.

One donor called the family of the victims, "the most amazing family I've ever known." Nearly $18,000 has been raised for the family.
