(WWJ) Michiganders are known as a hardy breed.

Give us snow. Give us scorching heat. Give us ice and heat in the same day -- heck, shut down the power.

We'll find a way to shovel out.

But this? Not so much.

A man named Douglas Buskirk shared a video of himself crossing the Mackinac Bridge at the height of the polar vortex. NOTE IT STARTS WITH STRONG LANGUAGE.

All viewers can see is a sheet of ice on the road and a steep drop from the Mighty Mac to the water. Blowing snow makes visibility limited.

The white knuckle drive is silent until the end when the driver says presumably to the the passenger holding the camera -- "This is nuts, I don't like driving in this."

Could you do it?

More than 500,000 people have seen the video on Facebook, and the consesus seems to be this comment: "No way on God’s green Earth."
