Wanted: Hit-And-Run Driver Who Struck Woman Crossing Harper

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for help to find a hit-and-run driver at large.

According to investigators, the female victim was on foot crossing Harper, near Connor, at around 9:40 p.m. December 6 when she was struck by a dark colored SUV. 

The driver didn't stop after hitting the woman, police said, instead continuing eastbound on Harper.

The victim was taken by EMS to a local hospital where she was listed in critical condition. No further details about the victim have been released. 

The vehicle was caught on video, and police are hoping a tip from the public will lead to the driver's identity.
