Waterford 7-Eleven Clerk Held At Gunpoint; Suspect At Large [VIDEO]

WATERFORD TWP. (WWJ) - Police in Waterford Township say a man who held a 7-Eleven employee at gunpoint got away with less than $100.

The armed robbery was caught on video at around 12:45 a.m. last Friday, at the convenience store located at 1795 Scott Lake Road, near Waterford Oaks Waterpark. 

According to police, suspect entered the business, pointed a pistol at the clerk and ordered him to open the register drawer. When he then told the clerk to put the money into a brown bag, the clerk complied, and the suspect fled on foot with some cash.

The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes and light brown eyebrows, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, gloves and a white mask over his face, police said.

As the search for the robber continues, investigators are asking for the public's help to identify him.
