(WWJ) Tupac Amaru Shakur was arrested Saturday in Johnson City, Tenn., according to a news release.

No, not that one. The other guy.

This one is a 40-year-old Elizabethton, Tenn., resident who was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

This guy is white, mostly bald, and inexplicably named exactly after one of the world's most famous rappers. The real Tupac was born a few years earlier, in 1971, which would make him 48.

Tupac was killed in a drive-by shooting in 1996, when his fellow namesake was 16 years old. Conspiracy theories abound about who killed him and whether he's really dead.

Safe to say, he wouldn't return as a bald, white man allegedly selling meth.

In the case of the second Tupac, police say they were called at about 5:40 p.m. to the address of a man who had multiple warrants out for his arrest.

As they arrived, police saw a vehicle leaving with Shakur inside.

Officer later found the vehicle and tried to place Shakur in custody. That's when they said he tried to turn toward officers with a knife in his hand.

He was subdued after a brief struggle, per the release, and officers found a syringe and multiple baggies of methamphetamine on his person.

Shakur was arrested and is being held on $18,000 bond.
