Woman Accused Of Killing Husband In Argument Over Porn

PINE BLUFF, Ark. (WWJ) - A 69-year-old Arkansas woman is behind bars after she allegedly shot and killed her husband in a disagreement over pornography.

In a news release, Sheriff’s Major Lafayette Woods Jr. said Patricia Hill is accused of fatally shooting 65-year-old Frank Hill, shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Patricia Hill told investigators she'd discovered that her husband had purchased a pornographic program via the television guide, Woods said, and went out to the shed to confront him about it. A disagreement ensued, and she asked her husband to leave.

When he refused to do so, Patricia Hill allegedly confessed that that she went into the house, retrieved a .22-caliber pistol and shot her husband in the leg and head, according to the sheriff's office report.

She then went back into the house and called 911 "stating she shot her husband," Woods said. When deputies and EMS arrived, they found her standing in her front yard waiting for them.

Frank Hill -- who was found on the floor of the shed with at least two gunshot wounds -- was pronounced dead at the scene, and the wife was taken into custody.

According to reports, Patricia Hill does not allege she was physically abused but her husband, telling investigators there had been no violence between them prior to the shooing.

Patricia Hill was booked on a murder charge on Saturday and is being held without bond, awaiting her next court appearance.
