CLINTON TWP. (WWJ) - Police are searching for a man wanted in an attempted rape in Clinton Township.

According to investigators, a 34-year-old woman reported she was running on the track at Chippewa Valley High School, on 19 Mile Road near Romeo Plank, at around 8:30 a.m. Sunday when she was approached by an unknown man.

She told police the man pushed her to the ground and tried to sexually assault her. When she fought back, the suspect ran away.
