June 12, 2018 - 8:45 am

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Police in Southfield are asking for help locating a 43-year-old woman who disappeared after leaving a restaurant in Detroit.

Police say Kyla Shay Bell was last seen the evening of Friday, May 25 when she and a friend were at Theresa’s Place Restaurant on McNichols Road near Schaefer Highway. Bell left the restaurant around 2 a.m. and apparently drove to an address, via McNichols, near the 18000 block of Westmoreland Road in Detroit. No one has seen or heard from her since.

Family members tell police it's out of character for Bell to not contact them for an extended length of time or to not show up at her place of employment.

Bell is described as an African American female, 5'0" tall and 155 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing her work uniform of a black long sleeve dress shirt, black tie, pants and slip on shoes. She drives a 2009 gray Pontiac Vibe with a Michigan license plate of CDC392.

Anyone who has seen Bell or has any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police at 248-796-5500.
