TROY, Mich. – The legalization of recreational marijuana in the state of Michigan has led to many questions from employers and employees about company policies, screening potential job candidates and the definition of being “under the influence.” These and other issues will be covered in a special program by two of Michigan’s top HR workplace experts, hosted by the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce this Thursday, February 7, 2019. 


The special program will be conducted by James E. Baiers, chief legal officer, and Craig Vanderburg, chief operating officer, of Trion Solutions, Inc., which manages the HR administration for approximately 150 small- to mid-size businesses in the state of Michigan, and another 450 companies across the United States . 

The event will start with a 10 a.m. meet-and-greet networking opportunity, followed by the 10:30-11:30 a.m. program. It will be held at Retirement Resources, 1625 N. Opdyke Road, near University Dr. and 1-75., in Auburn Hills.
