Answering the direct care crisis.

Michigan has a shortage of direct support professionals (DSPs), as well as inadequate training. Thursday January 30th the Autism Alliance of Michigan and the Fill Circle Foundation will offer a session on Independent Living Training for families of special needs children and adults.

Dori Martinuzzi of the Full Circle Foundation says the event offers more opportunities for greater independence for the benefit of special needs families as well as caregivers.

The session is Thursday January 30th 6pm at Grosse Pointe South High School Library in Grosse Pointe Farms.
